From 8am-5pm I assist corporations to better engage with their public stakeholders.

I became a mother about a year ago, and since I have been thinking a lot, crying a lot, laughing a lot.  So hear I am, nearing the end of my maternity leave, desperately trying to find meaning in my 8am-5pm…..struggling with the thought of leaving my baby with someone else while I work so I can pay that someone else.

I decided to start a blog to collect and share the things that inspire me, to remind myself of all that I am grateful for. Blogging has always been something that “was just not for me” – it scared me to death – what do I have to say that would be of interest to anyone? I am not a designer, not particularly artistic, or stylish. 2014 is a year of pushing boundary’s, breaking walls, and doing things that frighten me.

Hi! I happened upon your blog by clicking on your name, as its uniqueness appealed to me. After reading your “About” page, I realized there’s more than your name that lead me to you. I can relate. I am a Mother. I know what it’s like to desperately want to find meaning in your 8am – 5pm. Starting a blog. Being grateful. And especially your last sentence about pushing the boundaries, breaking walls, and doing things that frighten you. Keep on posting…I look forward to reading more.
